The Little Cake Shop: Environmental Statement

We here at The Little Cake Shop are committed to taking environmental issues seriously. As a business, we recognise that we have a responsibility to act in as sustainable a way as possible. Please read our environmental commitments below:

Purchasing

• We try, where possible, to use materials only from sustainable sources.
• We use recycled paper and materials wherever possible.

Recycling

• All glass, paper, plastic, cardboard and metal are separated out and recycled.
• We reuse all of the packaging and boxes that our supplies come in.

Energy

• We switch off all lights, heating and electric devices every evening.
• We use low energy lightbulbs where possible throughout the unit.
• We make a conscious effort to use as little energy as possible.
