Here you will find competitively priced edible sugar items including icing and marzipan, sprinkles, sparkles, flower making materials and even edible glue.
Ready to roll icing is really easy to use. Roll the icing out on a thin layer of icing sugar and mould around your cake. It can be kneaded together to create different colours or a marbled icing effect. Cake Pops are all the rage at the moment so why not have a look at our edible sprinkles and be inspired!
Ready to Roll Icing comes in numerous colours and weights: knead blocks of fondant icing together to form a soft ball then roll out onto icing sugar. Create a large circle of sugarpaste two inches bigger than your cake then place on top. Use Smoothers to achieve a flawless finish.
If you require a paler shade then just mix a pack of white icing together with the coloured icing to gain the desired shade.
If you're not too confident at professional piping simply use an icing pen which is easier and more convenient. Our edible pens are just like a felt tip but safe to eat. They come with two tips, one thick and one thin.
If you want something which is a bit thicker try using an icing pen or a gel pen.
These translucent cake decorations are made from a soft, edible jelly, which gives them shiny, gem like appearance. Ready-to-use, edible jewels for adding sparkle to food, including cakes and cookies.
Try using tweezers to eject the gem from its container rather than your fingers which can sometimes make them go cloudy.
Our range of icing and marzipan includes flowerpaste, royal icing mix, run out icing, fondant icing and buttercream.
Marzipan is traditionally used on fruit cakes and makes a nice addition to sponge cakes.

Add a tiny amount of Sugarflair Paste food colouring to icing, buttercream, water, jelly etc. Note this is different to the food colouring you will buy in the supermarket as it is concentrated and you only need to use a small amount. You can mix the food colouring together to give a different shade. Try using Poppy Red food colouring to make a red velvet cake.
Making sugar flowers? Try using Blossom Tint colouring to give shade and depth to sugar flowers or Lustre Dust to add a sparkle.
Cake Pops are the lastest craze to hit the cake scene. They are simple and fun to make. Have a go yourself using one of the two following methods:
The most common way to make Cake Pops is to use crispy rice cereal covered in melted mashmallow. Wilton Cookie Sticks are then used to create the Cake Pop stick. This is very quick and means you can make many Cake Pops in one go.
The other way to make Cake Pops is by baking a sponge cake and, once it has cooled, turning the cake into crumbs which you then use to make balls on the Wilton Cookie Sticks. These are then covered in melted buttons (we have a range of Renshaw button flavours see link) to form the Cake Pops you'll recognise. Sprinkles or sugar decorations can then be added to individualise the Cake Pops. Yum!
If you're in a rush a ready made sugar plaque is a great way to decorate a cake. We have sugar plaques for every occassion in all colours and designs. If you can't find what you are looking for try buying a blank plaque and decorate it yourself.
