Royal Mail Signed Delivery - £6.49 inc. VAT

1-2 working days from despatch*. Signed For delivery is available on all orders.  Please note orders over £30 a signature is required. Free delivery on orders over £50 sent via Royal Mail Tracked 1-2 working days.

Next Working Day Delivery Interlink Express - £7.49 inc. VAT

If you’ve left it to the last minute and need your items in a hurry you can select this service to have your items the next working day. Orders must be received prior to 1:30pm for delivery the next day. Orders placed after this time may still be dispatched - call our Customer Service Team for advice 0121 439 0202. Interlink Express Predict gives the customers a one hour delivery time slot, meaning you don't have to wait in all day for your parcel, so you know when we are going to arrive, so you can plan your working day. *Please note that at Bank Holiday Weekends your order will be despatched the Next Working Day Available.

 

Saturday Delivery Interlink Express- £24.99 inc. VAT

For parcels that need delivering on a Saturday before 12pm. Interlink Express Predict gives the customers a one hour delivery time slot, meaning you don't have to wait in all day for your parcel, so you know when we are going to arrive, so you can plan your working day.

 

Adverse Weather Conditions

Please also be aware that during periods of adverse weather conditions deliveries can be delayed making it necessary to add an extra 4 working days for your order to arrive. This extra allowance is on top of our recommended 1-3 days for the current trackable service. We advise this so that you can order in plenty of time and won't be disappointed should your orders arrive after the desired delivery time.

UK Despatch Time

We endeavour to despatch orders as speedily as possible, usually within 24 hours. However, during busy seasonal periods such as Christmas, Easter and Bank Holidays please do allow extra time. 1st class, 2nd class and Signed Delivery orders placed before 3:00pm will endeavoured to be despatched the same day, Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 2.30pm on a Friday will be despatched Monday. Please ensure you order your items well in advance to avoid disappointment.

International Delivery

We are currently not shipping international orders including The Republic of Ireland. We hope to be shipping them again soon.

Alternative Payment Methods

We do not accept payment by cheque or postal order. We accept all major credit cards except American Express via our secure transaction system called Secure Hosting.

Refund Policy

The consumer (i.e. an individual buying for his or her self rather than for a business) has the right to cancel within fourteen days or fourteen days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you find your goods are not suitable please return the item in its original unused condition to (any damages will not be refunded): The Little Cake Shop Ltd, Castle Vale Enterprise Park, Block E Unit 5, Park Lane, Birmingham, B35 6LJ. You must clearly state the reason for the return, your name and order number and payment will be refunded. In this case only the cost of the product will be refunded. Any postage costs (and additional postage costs incurred by the consumer returning the item(s)) will not be refunded. Items bought in error may also be returned but postage will remain the customer's responsibility.

We do not accept returns of food items including sugar flowers.

Back Orders

We have an automated system which monitors our stock levels.  Therefore if you order the last of any item our system automatically marks the item as out of stock.  Also if you try and order 5 of something for example and we only have 4 in stock the system will tell you.  This should prevent back orders, however, sometimes the system fails and we may not have an item in stock.  If this does happen we will endeavour to contact you straight away. We will then place your item on back order and send it to you as soon as it comes back into stock free of charge. Should you not wish to wait for this item you can cancel or substitute your item.

My Order Has Not Arrived Yet What Shall I do?

Please check with other members of your household and neighbours FIRST. Unfortunately with the thousands of parcels we send sometimes things do go missing.  We get very frustrated by this but please be assured that this is NOT our fault but the fault of the delivery company.  We will always do our very best to rectify the situation so please don't shout at us!

1st & 2nd Class Royal Mail items - Please wait for 14 working days after you placed your order (this is the official time that Royal Mail classes an item as lost not a rule that we make up).  If after this time you still haven't received your parcel we will endeavour to rectify the problem. 

Royal Mail Signed Delivery - Please wait for 14 working days after you placed your order (this is the official time that Royal Mail classes an item as lost not a rule that we make up).  If after this time you still haven't received your parcel we will endeavour to rectify the problem. 

Interlink Express Next Day & Saturday - If you have not received your order the next day (extremely rare) ie the order was placed before 2:30pm the previous day then please call us straight away.  Interlink Express vans all have GPS tracking on them so we can quickly see where the problem has occurred.
